LearningStation Announces National Roll Out
of LS Test Builder
Proven e-learning tool enables standards-aligned formative assessment and individualized instruction to increase student achievement
Charlotte, N.C. – February 5, 2008 – LearningStation, a leading provider of customized, online solutions for the K-12 classroom, has announced the nationwide roll out of LS Test Builder, an e-learning tool that enables standards-aligned formative assessment and targeted, integrated instruction. LS Test Builder provides an intuitive online environment for educators to create, deliver, and assess standards-based formative practice tests to prepare their students for state-mandated tests.
LS Test Builder’s easy-to-use, teacher-inspired interface allows educators to create tests using custom, district-provided, or state-released practice questions; draw from thousands of preloaded standards-aligned test questions for language arts, math, social studies, and science in grades 3-12; and save and share tests with teachers across schools and districts. Additionally, teachers can deliver tests to students via an intuitive online interface and evaluate student and class performance through a variety of reports. LS Test Builder has been used successfully for more than four years in schools across the state of Kansas. In a recent survey of LearningStation users in Kansas, 91% of respondents reported that LS Test Builder has a positive impact in their schools and classrooms. The majority of respondents (77%) reported conducting assessment at least once a month, while nearly 40% reported conducting assessment at least once a week.
