What educators are saying about LS Test Builder
“Test Builder helps us deliver fast, accessible formative assessments. The exciting part is that our teachers are actually using it formatively … actually using it to differentiate instruction. Our teachers are giving tests, looking at the results, and modifying their instruction to help students improve understanding and performance. I couldn’t ask for more than that!
— Laura Smith, Curriculum Coordinator
“I really love the new Test Builder. It is easy to create practice assessments that my students can take online or that I can print out to do with them. Either way, my students can be preparing to take their state assessments. Thanks!”
— Jerri Ann Fike, Elementary Teacher
“Test Builder definitely will help my students study for the math assessments! Thank you!”
— Dawn Justice, High School Math Teacher
“I use Test Builder to help my students develop test-taking skills. First, each student takes an assessment and I score it. Then I put them in groups and they correct their answers. We then take a second test in groups and I have them work together to ‘argue’ the right answer. This test is scored and we go over it again. The next test is independent again and they are to ‘fight and discuss’ in their heads while picking the right answer.”
— Terri Howard, Title I Reading Teacher
“Test Builder helps us focus on creative ways of assessing and instructing, not drilling our kids with tests. Some teachers put test questions on the overhead, have students answer them, and then discuss their answers in small groups. Whatever the subject, we have so many awesome instructional strategies.”
— Carol Bartolac, Coordinating Teacher for Technology
“Great idea on the addition of student self-testing to earn trophies! We are going to have some fun with this!”
— Pam Collinge, Elementary Teacher
“You have been very efficient, effective and responsive for us at USD #207. All you do and the attitude I saw at the Boot Camp was amazing. Our teachers and students do and will continue to gain much from it.”
— Gayle Rue, Computer Lab Administrator
